Bingo calls are almost as famous as the game itself. Every number from 1-90 has its own special call and often reasons behind it.
We’ve put our five favourites below and would love to know what calls you like the best and if any intresting bits of bingo triva to boot.
1. Kelly’s Eye- In homage to the one eyed Australian Gangster Ned Kelly.
9. Doctor’s Orders- The curfew given to everyone on a sick note in World War Two.
10. Gordon’s Den- The first name of whoever is PM and resident at 10 Downing Street. We think Maggie’s Den is the most infamous though.
11. Legs Eleven- Famously met by wolf whistles from the excited bingo crowds.
76. Was She Worth It- Seven and six pence was the original cost of a marriage license.
